| Originally Zwickelbier was a sample amount of beer taken by a brewery boss from the barrel with a help of a special pipe, so-called Zwickelhahn. Nowadays (2007) in Germany it is commercially available in big amounts, usually as a bottom-fermented, but often also as a top-fermented (Kellerweizen). |
